The Colorado Chronicles

Last weekend I visited some friends in Boulder, Colorado and continued my beer adventures in the place where they began.  Two years ago I went to Colorado following my deployment to Iraq.  As I awaited wrist surgery, I couldn’t ski so I attempted to try as much good beer as possible.  This year, once again, I was injured and couldn’t ski so I decided that I would retrace my steps from the last Colorado excursion.  Last time I sampled 50 different beers over my weekend in Boulder but didn’t really remember what I tried, save for a few highlights.  I was new to drinking good beer.  This time I was armed with my camera, my fiance, and a permanent designated driver (Thanks Matt!).  I hit all of my old favorites and found some new ones this time around.  First in the shoot for tomorrow is Avery Brewing Company in Boulder.
